Q

How do I book a legal consultation?

A

To book a consultation you must call us at (416) 887-5291, submit an online form request on our website or email us at info@saronpc.com. A member of our team will then contact you to schedule a consultation with Saron.

Q

What do I bring to the meeting?

A

It is imperative you read this entire section to ensure you come to your meeting prepared. Those who attend the meeting unprepared or late risk not being able to proceed with a meeting as scheduled. Please bring the following items:

  1. Notebook and pencil or a laptop
  2. Documents, notes, photographs, charts or other materials relevant to your matter. All original documents will be returned to you at the end of the consultation
  3. Two pieces of government-issued photo identification
Q

How much time does a consultation take?

A

A legal consultation will take 1.5 – 2 hours to complete.

Q

A The cost is $600 plus HST ($678.00).
Q

What methods of payment do you accept?

A Acceptable methods of payment are limited to Interact e-transfer (payable to saron@saronpc.com), money order, certified cheque or bank draft. Please note we do not accept cash, regular cheque, PayPal, credit card or debit card.
Q

Who is the cheque payable to?

A Saron Legal Professional Corporation.
If you are paying via electronic transfer (e-transfer), you can create your own question, but the answer should always be: ‘lawyer’.
Q

When is payment due?

A Payment is due immediately before your legal consultation commences. Ensure you have payment in the proper method prepared prior to your meeting to avoid a cancellation or rescheduling effort.
Q

Are you available for a legal consultation?

A Due to the large volume of requests received, not every person who requests a legal consultation will be able to receive one. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
Q

I just want to know what it costs to hire you. Do I need to book a legal consultation?

A Yes. A legal consultation is needed to understand all the facts and events leading up to your meeting with us. If you do not end up hiring us, we will empower you with information so that when you leave you will be able to do better self-advocacy and know what your rights are.
Q

I attended my legal consultation. But a week or so has gone by and I have more questions or new information to provide to you. How do I get further legal help?

A

If you need more help after the legal consultation or after a legal letter has been written on your behalf, you need to work with us to create a specialized retainer agreement tailored to your specific needs. A retainer agreement specifies what services you require and what type of budget will be required to meet those needs. You also have the option of scheduling a second legal consultation if new developments have arisen or you need more assistance to develop a further strategy or continue to analyze and work through a legal matter.
